LUX is latin for light - “light” is one of those words for me that carries many different emotions and meanings, all in one. i have it tattooed on me as a reminder to let my light shine. My daughters name is Luca, which means “bringer of light” , and my does she do just that - since becoming a mother i have been blessed to have the opportunity to be able to realise my passion lol and what i want to spend my free time doing - i love bringing people together, i love the warmth and beauty of togetherness, emotion and connection. i love telling a good story through a lense and am an overly sentimental freak, who since a child has always had a fascination and love for photographs and the true value they hold. in my eyes they bring that beauty to light, they are a timeless reminder of a moment or connection you never want to end. It’s honestly an honour for me to be able to share my light with others and experience others in return. through capturing those exact pieces for them, for their lifetime, their special moments, their light.. that’s me letting my light shine.
